Have you imported credit card data directly? A video could be really helpful/
No Video Yet on this one. However, here are written instructions for now.
Yes, importing credit card and banking transactions is an awesome feature.
You first set up Online Banking, which imports data from banking or credit card websites, First, make sure your Credit Card or Bank account is set up in the Chart of Accounts, as the appropriate type.
If it is already set up, highlight the account in the Chart of Accounts, choose Edit Account from the Account tab at the bottom of the Chart of Accounts, Click on the “Set up Online Services” tab and follow the prompts.
After entering all of the information it directs you to the website for that account. All of the webistes differ so if you can’t find where to download you may have to call your bank or credit card for help the first time. You will choose Download to QuickBooks Web Connect, enter the dates you want to import and download.
The transactions will be held in the Online Banking until you go in and assign account information for each transaction or match what is already entered in QuickBooks.
You can choose to have the account automatically downloaded but your bank will charge a monthly fee for that service. You can choose to download free at any time you choose to go on and do it.
