Founded in 1887, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants is the world’s largest association for accounting professionals such as CPAs and EAs. Organization is pretty large reaching over 350k people and being in over 128 countries. One of it’s primary focus is to set ethical standards in the United States for Accounting Professions when it comes to audits with private, non-profit organizations and federal, state and local governments. the AICPA develops and grades the uniform CPA Exams.
